Dear Patients and Families,
After much thought and reflection, I am writing to share some very personal news. Effective
November 1, 2026, I will be stepping away from my practice as an OB/GYN and bringing this
chapter of my professional life to a close.
It has been an extraordinary privilege to be your physician. You have trusted me with some of
the most personal and meaningful moments of your lives, and I have never taken that trust for
granted. The relationships I have formed with you have been one of the greatest gifts of my
career.
I am also reassured to know that you will continue to be in wonderful hands. My partners and
dear friends, Dr. Monica Diaz, Dr. Wendy Parnell, and Dr. Shanica Pompey will be assuming the
care of my patients. I have tremendous confidence in their compassion and dedication and I
know they will care for you with the same commitment to excellence and kindness that you
deserve.
If you would like a copy of your medical records as I transition out of practice, you are welcome
to request them. Carlos and Parnell, MD, PA, will be joining Medical City Healthcare and as a
part of this transition your medical records will be maintained by Medical City OBGYN, PLLC.

Although saying goodbye is difficult, I leave with an enormous sense of gratitude. Thank you for
allowing me to be a part of your lives and your families. It has been one of the greatest honors
of my life to care for you.
