Dr. Lisa Sliwinski was born at Medical City Dallas and raised in Plano, TX.
She attended Baylor University for undergrad where she was a 4 year letter winner on the 2012 Big XII champion women’s soccer team. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelors degree in biology and was recognized as Outstanding Senior by the Biology department. She subsequently attended medical school at the McGovern Medical school at the UT Health Science Center at Houston. She stayed in Houston for OBGYN residency at Houston Methodist where she served as administrative chief resident during her final year and was recognized as Outstanding Resident by the Society for Gynecologic oncology. During her time in Houston, she remained active in her various interests including playing coed recreational soccer, participating in “Docapella” a vocal ensemble group for medical professionals, and singing in her church’s worship band.
Dr. Sliwinski is excited to return to North Texas to continue caring for women of all ages and backgrounds. She specializes in care of pregnant women, is committed to wellness through cancer screening and disease prevention, and has a passion for minimally invasive gynecologic surgery including robotic and vaginal hysterectomies.

Dr. Sliwinski has a deep interest in fitness which includes playing recreational coed soccer, running, and taking fitness classes at the YMCA. She also enjoys making high quality coffee, baking, and spending time with her five godchildren including her two nieces who are the lights of her life.
