RETIRED / Dr. Joseph Carlos is a Michigan native. He is one of the founding physicians of Carlos & Parnell, M.D., P.A., which has been in existence since 1981. Dr. Carlos is an active member of the medical staff of Medical City Hospital, having served in leadership positions on many hospital committees. Dr. Carlos is slated to be the Chief of Staff at Medical City Hospital for the 2006-2007 term. As a deacon at New Hope Baptist Church, Dr. Carlos is known for incorporating Christian prayer and faith into his practice. Dr. Carlos and his wife, Hazel, are the proud parents of 3 beautiful children (Joseph, Jordan, and Marjon).
